Eva-dry Electric Dehumidifier Review

Our back bathroom is small.  Really small.  It is also the farthest room from the air conditioner.  With two people taking showers in there, it makes for a pretty humid environment.  With the humidity that is naturally in the air in Mississippi most of the year added in, it is hard to dry anything in that room.  We can run the exhaust fan 24-7 and still not get below 80% humidity on most days.

As a solution to this problem, I decided to buy a dehumidifier.  The problem was, of course, that the room is so small I don't have a place I can put a large unit that would surely do a good job in a small space.  I decided to try the Eva-dry Electric Dehumidifier.  This is a tiny little thing that seems to do a pretty good job.  It is quiet for the most part, especially compared to the bathroom exhaust fan.  I'd say we empty the little water reservoir about once a week or so.  This doesn't dry out the bathroom all that much and our towels still don't dry very well, but the water has to be coming from the air so I figure that it is doing something--which is better than nothing.

For the price, this is a nice little unit and if the environment wasn't quite so wet all the time, it might be effective.  We've just got it in a tough place.
