Quick Pod Review

We love our Quick Pod.  I bought this to take on our honeymoon because every honeymoon picture that I've ever seen were of just one or the other of the couple because they were there by themselves and didn't have anyone to take their picture.  Also, I'm terrible at the one-handed-at-arms-length photo.  This thing is just a plastic, telescoping handle with a camera mount at the end.  You attach your camera, set to a 2-second timer, and hold your arm out so it can take your picture.  That's it.  I highly recommend it if you are going to be travelling as a couple and don't like to ask to have your picture taken.  We even had a guy in Boston tell us, "If I had one of those, I wouldn't have to ask you to take my picture," as he handed me his cell phone for my to snap his photo.  We used the Quick Pod every day on our trip.  Paige called it her "magic wand" that she kept with her at all times.  It even makes some pretty good video shot from a different perspective.  Here are a few shots that we took with the Quick Pod:
