you learn something every day

well...you learn new things every day. today i learned that if you want to backup your data on your laptop because you are going to slick the drive and rebuild it, don't do the several gig backup over a wireless network connection. just go in the next room and connect to the real network. not only has it taken forever to transfer, i have run out of memory on my laptop and its not responding too well.

other than that nothing much going on.
