new toy

well. i've bought a new computer. its a sony vaio desktop "digital studio" sams came down another $100 on the 4th of july so i went ahead and bought it. according to mitchell at work they came down another $100 on sat but i don't care. i've got it now. i like it so far although i have yet to successfully burn a cd or even try a dvd. i didn't think finding dvd-r's cheap would be such a chore. i'll order some eventually. i think i'll wait till i get my video camera before i do that.

i had fun this weekend. me lorrie and lal went to columbus on friday to eat and then the three of us and dan went to tuscaloosa on sat night and ate at olive garden and krispy kreme. it was a good time. i've still got a half dozen doughnuts to eat. i'm putting off sleep again so i'd better get to bed. i overslept today. i don't want to have to rush again tomorrow.
