new Gmail address

i now have a Gmail address for email. for those not familiar, this is the (currently beta) service from google that gives you 1GB of email storage for free. it seems pretty nice even though i've only had it a couple of hours. you have to be invited to participate in the beta test and there is actually a site with people bargaining for sought-after screen names. i got the invitation for being a user of blogger but i'm not sure that i'm allowed to invite anyone right now.
