Hurricane Ivan

maybe i'm just an optimist but is seems that many people around my area are overreacting to this storm. i mean, if i lived on the coast i would evacuate. and if i lived in a place prone to flooding, i'd be concerned. but as it is, as long as a tree doesn't fall on my house and i don't get caught having to drive in the middle of the storm, i'm not worried at all about physical or property damage. you do the best you can to influence that which you have control over and don't concern yourself about the rest. and 80mph winds in hattiesburg, i doubt it. it might gust that high but i don't think sustained winds will be up that high. i may be wrong, but i just don't see the need to be worried.
