Heroes

I don't have many heroes. But I think Brandi and Lew just might be two of them. A few years ago I heard that they were going to Africa after graduating seminary and I was excited for them. Then I hear about all the hoops that they had to jump through just to get to Africa and I was discouraged for them. They finally get to Uganda and I hear that they have both had illnesses while they are there and I was concerned about them. Then I hear that they were going to have a baby there and I thought they were crazy. By the way, Elisabeth is a cutie. Yesterday I read Brandi asking for prayers for Lew walking into the mountains to find someone to share Christ with and I prayed for them. Today I read Lew's account of the day and I'm proud to know them. With all that goes on in the world, I'm glad there is someone just walking into the mountains to share with a person who needs it.
