Looking Up

Tonight I got home from watching 24 and, as I was walking in to the house, looked up to see the vapor trail from jet directly overhead.  It is a very clear night and it was very high up and looked surreal.  I could hear no sound from it and there were no sounds from cars passing by at the moment and I stood there and watched it for a moment.  As I was standing there, I remembered seeing another vapor trail this afternoon when I got home from work going the same direction (west to east).  I thought it was very strange since I don't often see these things in rural Mississippi.  Then I noticed another vapor trail in the sky paralleling the first.  They were very pretty in the moonlight.  I don't know if there are more planes flying over my house or if there is something going on that I don't know about.  Or maybe I just haven't looked up in a while.
